A Reading Over Cyberspace
Being sceptic I have always been curious about Psychic Readings. I always approach them with an open mind and do my best to look at the results rationally. Recently I received a reading from Wendy, the site owner of Seekers Of Spirit forum, which I frequent on a regular basis.
Generally a sceptic will dismiss these readings because they are often ambiguous, I have been guilty of this and still am to an extent. So with this in mind I could say that Wendy's reading was simply a cold reading that could apply to a multitude of people, which I'm sure it does. Despite believing that she is receiving a message from Spirit for me, she could simply be getting some thoughts and picking out some random cards that result in a message that applies to me but in doing so makes it so open that it would also apply to 95% of the population!
However I'm not your typical sceptic, you could even argue that I am on the side of the psychic, so I'd like to offer this alternative way of thinking. Let's say that Wendy did connect with her Spirit Guide and that the message was actually intended for me and no one else. I do not think that it would be possible to receive a message that would be entirely unique to me, lets face it we all have similar problems, but that does not mean it was not for me after all I could have been the 5% that it would not apply to. I have read other readings and wouldn't be able to take anything that they had received so does this mean that the psychic is just not very good at cold reading? We do have similar problems but they are not the same problems at the same time. So maybe the psychic receives a message for us regarding areas of our life that require attention.
The truth is we cannot know for sure, the die hard sceptics will never believe, the psychics are convinced that it is all possible. Until I am able to connect with Spirit and give someone an accurate reading with some unique facts specific to them I will have to remain sceptical. Yet as sceptical as I am I respect those that claim they are able to give readings and will not completely dismiss the possibility that they are actually communicating with Spirit, Guides, etc.

The Reading
Ok my guide is showing me a carousel, she
is on it and having a good time, smiling waving at someone who is
watching, but each time she goes around the person is in a different
place and then the person disappears. the carousel is a symbol of fun
and excitement the fact it is going around and around is perhaps to
show you how life can go around in circles especially if we don't do
anything to change the pattern, the person on the ground watching and
constantly moving to different places is to say that not all is as it
seems to you right now, and is about trying to catch something but it
always is just out of reach, and then the person disappears which feels
to me like they will disappear if you don't take more notice..hope this
makes sense l'm sure as l write more and show the cards it will become
clear...
My guide told me to pick the 6th, 9th and 22nd card from the pack after shuffling them..
6th card - Ideas & Inspiration - pay attention to new thoughts and ideas that come to you. They are seeds of magnificent co-creations with God.
This is to do with your mind and how inquisitive it is and wanting answers, so pay attention to any radical and inspiring ideas that pop into your head and follow through, l feel this is linked to a work idea, perhaps something you want to do which means being your boss, l feel you are fed up of being dictated to by authority and hate being told what to do especially when you don't enjoy your work, l do feel you have been thinking for a long time about breaking free to go solo, could be the right time to start to sow some seeds and see what grows from them, the ones that you nurture and nurish are the ones that will bloom and thrive!
9th card - FOCUS - Think about what you want, not what you don't want. Guard your thoughts carefully, because they create your experiences.
l feel this card ties in with the one above...if you focus good intentions around your ideas they will pay off, things could go the way you wish if you focused on your dreams and aspirations. l also feel this is linked to your love life, because there is worry here, worry about the future, where things will go, doubts that you are not good enough, or is your partner the right one...basically lots of worry..lots!! But do be careful with your thoughts be those good or bad because just by thinking the worse you can make it happen just as by thinking good things can make them happen, so be careful what you think! Its about learning to train the mind to think positively..about focusing good intentions.
22nd card - TRUST - Believe in yourself, and have faith that God and the angels are with you. Ask them to help you lose the fears that block you from enjoying full faith.
well!!! l don't really need to add anything more to this, but l do feel you hold a lot of trust issues within, the biggest one is your faith and what you believe, and this also turns to matters of the heart too!
This card is all about self trust and it is showing you to put trust in yourself and others.
So my guide was talking about trust when she showed me the carousel and also showing me fear of losing people and about faith and also about holding onto positive thoughts to build positive results..basically all the cards she chose for you tie in with the carousel image...hope this makes sense to you

Conclusion
I was able to accept some of the reading in a heartbeat, other areas required a little more contemplation. A day or so later things in my life started to fit some of the other areas of the Reading that hadn't previously appeared relevant. So was it the reading that was correct or was it me making my life fit the reading? Either way it did fit, could have just been a coincidence or maybe Wendy did give me an accurate reading. Finally I would like to offer my very sincere thanks to the lovely Wendy of Seekers of Spirit, who so very kindly gave her time and effort to perform the reading for me. Thanks Wendy :)
