Pluckley - Little Chart Church Ruins
My first outing with Spiritrealms Paranormal Study Group (run by Alan, the guy mentioned above involved in the automatic writing). Another nice location and another experience!
- I was looking towards the ruins when I witnessed what looked like heat rising from the ground that distorts what you're looking at, like you experience on a hot day when heat rises from the road. This distortion was localized to only one particular area which was where the ivy was climbing the ruins (to the left of the doorway on the picture above). I dismissed this as my eyes playing tricks on the different textures between the stone wall and the leaves of the ivy. Only later when I mentioned it to others in the group they told me that they had individually witnessed the same and before I had a chance to fully explain what I had seen Alan described to me what he had seen, this was good because I then knew that he wasn't just going along with what I was saying. Later when I looked at the same area from the same spot the distortion was not there. I was told that this distortion was the early stages of an apparition. The area was investigated and I could not see any heat source or concentration of electrical source, etc
- We performed a seance and upon asking for a sign we heard a banging. The group dismissed this as gunshots or fireworks. We asked for a sign again and heard the same sort of noise but again dismissed it. My partner wasn't convinced that this should've been dismissed though and upon reflection I do agree with her. The reason I think this is because if it was gun fire it must have been a machine gun! And due to the time of year and time of day it was pretty unlikely to have been fireworks.
