When I created this site I thought "I'm sceptic'ish and my name is Tel, I think I'll call my site 'Sceptic Tel'." Whilst running my spellcheck in the early stages of development I noticed sceptic would be corrected as skeptic, which is the American spelling. I didn't think much of it, carried on with my English way of spelling and continued on to buy my URL. Later as I browsed more I noticed the use of the American spelling, Skeptic, being used more and more even by my English peers.
Curious as to why I looked into it, however rather than ramble on I'll simply ask you to read this link which explains why an English group uses the American spelling of Sceptic
Skeptic or Sceptic?Read it? Good that saved me a whole lotta writing :) So the bottom line is it doesn't matter, but by including this page I'll still get hits from people Googling Skeptic
