Rosie Excels
I want to include this story on here because I was extremely impressed by Rosie's clairvoyance on this occasion, so much so that it increased my faith in her ability.The one flaw in an otherwise perfect Rosie is that she smokes. It costs a lot to smoke these days and we decided that to try to help her reduce the amount that she smokes we'd ration her cigarette supply. So we allocated a certain amount to her, which she kept in a case and I hid the rest. Later that day I had to go to work, I knew her cigarette supply was low and wondered how she was going to cope with so few left. When I returned home I found her with a smug grin and a packet of cigarettes, huh?
What had happened is Rosie had ran out of cigarettes and was in desperate need of one so she frantically searched the house looking for the stash, but to no avail, I'd hidden them real good. So in a last ditch attempt she decided to ask Spirit where the cigarettes were. She got the picture of a tall larder cupboard that used to be in the garage, that didn't make sense though, they couldn't be in there because the larder was not there anymore. Ah but the bottom bit was which we now used to store the dirty washing. So she figured Spirit must be telling her that her cigarettes were in the dirty washing. So she went and dug out all the washing looking for her cigarettes only to find they were not there.....
So why a picture of the larder? With that thought the picture of the larder reappeared into her head but this time focused upon what was on top of it before it had been cut down. Aha! A cat carrier! Hmm...where is the cat carrier now though? She had a hunt around and finally found it on the top shelf in the garage. She got the step ladder and got the cat carrier down and hey presto there were the cigarettes that I had hidden. Rosie was as shocked as I was when I found out what she had done.
It was such a good hiding place that I thought she would never find them there, not amongst all the other clutter that fills our garage, but thanks to "Spirit" she did. I said that I think Spirit are keen to have her join them that's why they helped her find her cigarettes. None the less I was very impressed with the story and the fact that she had found them. Was it Spirit? Well I can't say for sure but it sure is hard to explain and even if we put it down to telepathy or something similar then that would still be just as impressive!
